This Dissertation Explores the Impact of Schedule Delays, Labor Strikes and Cost Overruns on Construction Projects - BSc (hons) Construction. Cost overruns and schedule delays have a significant impact on construction projects. This dissertation aims to uncover the relationship between cost overruns and schedule delays and assess their effects on construction projects. To understand this impact, the researcher discusses different authors’ viewpoints on the topic, the effects of cost overruns and schedule delays, and various measures to address these problems. Both quantitative and qualitative data are collected to gather information about projects and identify solutions. The SPSS tool is utilized to explain the correlation between cost overruns and schedule delays. By selecting a sample of 20 contractors, the study gains a deeper understanding of how schedule delays and cost overruns are interconnected.
